BlackCarService.NYC rate structure, in detail

BlackCarService.NYC publishes a complete flat-rate matrix across the entire NYC tri-state region — no quote process, no commission-based pricing, no surge multipliers. Airport flat rates from Manhattan are $95 JFK, $75 LGA, $110 EWR, $135 Teterboro (TEB), and $145 Westchester (HPN) for the standard luxury sedan (Lincoln MKT or Mercedes-Benz E-Class); add $30 for the executive SUV (Cadillac Escalade ESV or Chevrolet Suburban), $50 for the first-class Mercedes-Benz S-Class, and $100 for the Mercedes-Benz Sprinter Van. Hourly charters run $95/hour sedan, $115/hour SUV, $135/hour S-Class, and $175/hour Sprinter, with 2-hour minimums (3 hours on Sprinter). Long-distance flat rates cover the high-volume tri-state and East Coast routes — Hamptons $485 sedan, Greenwich CT $245 sedan, Hoboken NJ $135 sedan, Philadelphia $385 sedan, Boston $785 sedan, Washington DC $695 sedan, the Berkshires $545 sedan. Every flat rate is fully loaded: tolls (Triborough/RFK, GW Bridge, Lincoln Tunnel, Holland Tunnel), New York State sales tax, NYC congestion-zone fees, and 30 minutes of complimentary wait time (60 minutes on international airport arrivals at JFK Terminal 1, 4, 5, 7, 8 and EWR Terminal B). Optional gratuity (18–20% customary) is the only line item beyond the quoted flat. As of 2026, no flat rate has changed since the 2024 cost-of-living adjustment.

What black car service costs versus Uber Black in NYC

The headline math: BlackCarService.NYC's $95 flat from JFK to Midtown beats Uber Black at every surge multiplier above 1.12×, which means the flat rate wins during literally every weekday rush hour, every snowstorm, every UN General Assembly week (mid-September), every NYC Marathon Sunday (first Sunday in November), every Met Gala (first Monday in May), every Fashion Week (early September and early February), every NYE, and every major Madison Square Garden / Barclays Center event night. Uber Black starts around $85 from JFK at 11 AM on a Wednesday — that's a 1.0× base, the company's lowest published rate. The same JFK trip during 4–7 PM Friday rush hits roughly $255 (3.0× surge). During a snowstorm, $382 (4.5×). During NYE midnight – 2 AM Times Square egress, $425+ (5.0×). The $95 flat at BlackCarService.NYC does not move during any of these windows. For a corporate book averaging 100 JFK trips a year — typical for an investment bank or Big Law associate base — the average per-trip surge avoidance of $160 compounds to $16,000 of annual savings versus on-demand rideshare. Combine that with the included flight tracking, the meet & greet, the TLC-licensed chauffeur, the centralized monthly invoice, and the inspected luxury fleet, and the comparison stops being about price.

Corporate-account benefits and discounts

Corporate clients at BlackCarService.NYC follow standard published rates by default, with volume discounts kicking in at 50+ trips per month (7–12% off retail) and 200+ trips per month (12–15% off retail). Net-30 invoicing is the standard term; net-15 with a 2% prompt-pay discount is available on request. Active accounts include investment banks (Goldman Sachs at 200 West St, JPMorgan Chase at 270 Park Ave, Morgan Stanley at 1585 Broadway, Citigroup at 388 Greenwich St), asset managers (BlackRock at 50 Hudson Yards, Blackstone at 345 Park Ave, KKR at 30 Hudson Yards, Apollo Global at 9 W 57th St), Big Law (Sullivan & Cromwell at 125 Broad St, Skadden at 1 Manhattan West, Cravath at 825 Eighth Ave, Wachtell Lipton at 51 W 52nd St), and Fortune 500 NYC HQs (Bloomberg at 731 Lexington Ave, Pfizer at 66 Hudson Blvd E, Mastercard at 2000 Purchase St). Account setup runs through Lena Petrova in operations at (646) 798-6550 ext. 3 — typical 24-hour turnaround covers employee booking profiles, custom GL codes, NDA-on-file for chauffeurs, and expense-platform integration with Concur, Expensify, and Ramp. Monthly invoices issue on the first business day for the prior month's trips, with itemized line entries by employee, route, and vehicle class for clean expense allocation. The corporate book runs roughly 14,000 trips a year — about 37% of total volume.

Insider tips: getting the most out of the rate matrix

A few things our long-term clients have figured out about the flat-rate matrix. First, the SUV upgrade is the cheapest math in the fleet — at $30 over the sedan to JFK, $20 to LGA, and $30 to EWR, the executive SUV is almost always the right call for a couple with two checked bags each, and unequivocally the right call for any group of three or more. Second, the round-trip 10% discount is the largest discount we offer outside corporate volume — book the outbound and return at the same time and you save roughly $30 on a Hamptons round-trip ($970 vs $873) and $19 on a JFK round-trip ($190 vs $171). Third, hourly is sometimes cheaper than flat for short-distance multi-stop work — a 3-hour Manhattan-internal sedan at $95/hour ($285) beats three separate $95-flats. Fourth, Sprinter Van bookings inside 48 hours of pickup risk fleet unavailability during summer Friday afternoons (Hamptons run pressure) and any wedding-season Saturday — book 7 days ahead in May–September to lock in the $195 JFK / $175 LGA / $215 EWR flat. Fifth, corporate volume discounts apply to total trip count across all employees on the account, not per-employee — a 200-employee firm with 1.5 trips per employee per month hits the 12% discount tier even when no individual employee uses the service heavily. Sixth, the Sunday-night Hamptons return run (East Hampton → Manhattan, Sunday 4–8 PM) is the highest-demand window of our week; book the return at the same time as the outbound to guarantee chauffeur and vehicle availability.

What clients say about the rates

★★★★★
"I run the corporate-travel desk for a 600-person hedge fund. Switched to BlackCarService.NYC in 2022 from a Tier-1 legacy provider that was charging $185 to JFK and surge-pricing through Uber on the gaps. Flat $125 SUV to JFK, 11% volume discount at our trip count. Saved roughly $94,000 last year on ground transport alone. Math doesn't lie."

★★★★★
"Booked a Hamptons-to-JFK Terminal 1 international run two summers ago — $485 sedan flat. The same Friday afternoon Uber Black quoted me $740 with a 4.2× surge. The flat rate doesn't move when summer-Friday LIE traffic blows up; that's the entire pitch."
